My husband makes my coffee each morning. • I know it’s small. I know it should seem insignificant in light of all the big things that will come each day. & yet, it matters. • When you are drained, someone filling ANYTHING feels like the hand you needed to push on. • When you are empty, someone pouring into your cup feels like water on dry ground.
Tiny acts of service can poke holes in stress that balloons above our heads. • Just because we can’t do everything for someone, doesn’t mean that we do nothing. • My husband makes my coffee each morning. • & it reminded me of how easy it can be, to fill someone with an empty cup.
